Melo's Cast Story

Story time: "Since you guys wanna know what happened to my leg, here it goes…...As usual I was walking to the dog park before taking the 4 line to the office, listening to Call Her Daddy podcast, minding my own business. I knew that around 8:30, Penny would be playing there. Penny is this cute pug that I was sort of talking to at the time. She has this beautiful smile and big eyes that I am drawn to. She loves playing hard-to-get with her AirPods and resting B**** face, but I know the tricks to get her attention. As soon as I got to the park, I noticed something was off. She was playing with another dog - a French Bulldog, to be precise. I pretended nothing was wrong, and I started to investigate who this random pup was with my furry friends. As minutes passed and Penny didn’t approach, I started to lose it. Who was this French Bulldog, and why was he talking to my girl?! I went into the pack and interrupted the conversation with the awkward, “Hi, Penny, I didn't know you were here.” The French Bulldog gave me a disarming side eye, which I returned. He then said “Hey, you must be Melo, why don’t you go and fetch this ball? I am busy with my girl.” His cocky tone unleashed my rage; I couldn't resist the urge to wrestle him, so I went for it. He wasn't expecting me to make a move, given he is double my size. He tried to evade my grip and when he did, he fell right on top of my right forearm. Ohhhh boy did it hurt!! I acted like nothing happened, however, as I didn’t want to whine in front of Penny. My hooman quickly grabbed me, and we went to the dogtor and got my arm wrapped in a cast (pink, and then blue). As I sit at my desk writing this story, I can’t wait to go back to the dog park and see Penny again. I guess in the meantime I’ll have to stick with Tinder. Anyone got Tinder Gold?" - Melo Carmelo
